    Section 1: Origins and Evolution

Let’s look at how Pakistan’s Truck Art started and changed over time.

Starting Point: Truck Art in Pakistan began many years ago, in the early 20th century. Back then, people started decorating their trucks and buses with colorful designs. It wasn’t just about looks; it helped them recognize their vehicles in crowded places.

Traditional Touch: Traditional elements like beautiful paintings, flowers, and detailed patterns became a big part of Truck Art. These designs often cover the entire vehicle, and the level of detail is imposing.

Colors Everywhere: When you think of Truck Art, you can’t help but notice the bright and bold colors. Trucks and buses are turned into rolling rainbows, with reds, blues, and yellows lighting up the streets.

Messages in Art: Truck Art is about more than just looking pretty. It often includes poetry and symbols that tell stories or share ideas. This adds even more depth and meaning to the art.

Colors That Pop: These vehicles are like moving rainbows! Bright colors like red, blue, green, and yellow make the designs stand out. Each color has its meaning and makes the art even more enjoyable.

Poetry and Shapes: Truck Art often includes poetry and special shapes. The poetry can be in Urdu or other languages, and it adds a poetic touch to the art. Shapes like stars, crescents, and peacocks are common and have special meanings.

Messages in Art: Besides looking amazing, Truck Art also tells stories. Sometimes, it shows the driver’s feelings or thoughts. Other times, it talks about things happening in society or politics. It’s like a moving message board.

Changing All the Time: Truck Art doesn’t stay the same. Artists are always coming up with new ideas and designs. They’re influenced by what’s popular and what people want. So, it’s a form of art that is constantly changing and staying fresh.

In this section, we’ve learned how Truck Art turns plain vehicles into colorful canvases full of beauty and meaning. Are You Ready For A More Expensive Trip?

If you want to travel in post covid era then the travel expense is more expensive than you usually spend. With more travel precautionary measures,  travel expense is way more costly from test to mask. Everything is essential for traveling. The news that Singapore will welcome tourists from the Philippines from March 4 bodes well for many. One of the most popular summer destinations, Singapore has banned Filipino tourists for more than two years. Many people, myself included, are excited to rediscover ancient places or hop on a plane and be able to fly anywhere after COVID-19 severed our wings so long.

Before you pack, it’s a good idea to have your wallet ready for more than just airfare. Some may be accustomed to the extra cost of basic travel, but the new cost may surprise leisure travelers.

These are some of the extras that tourists have to pay to ensure a safer trip for everyone.

FCO (Foreign and Commonwealth Office) Issues Travel Advice For Pakistan Tour

    Pre-Departure Covid-19 Test

Travelers must submit a negative COVID-19 test result within 48 to 72 hours before flight departure. A few months ago, it is to pay P5000 for it. These days, there are cheaper options, so be sure to shop for the best price. However, there are two things that shouldn’t be compromised.

    (1) choose a DOH-approved test center (or you may have to retake the test, or worse, miss your flight),

    (2) be guaranteed on 24-48 Posts within hours (could be cheap, but if the results are delayed, it’s another failed trip).

    Travel Insurance

Admittedly, didn’t always check this box when checked out from airline bookings, but now pausing and looking at my options. Keep in mind the times and you will find that travel insurance is mandatory in many countries. For those of you who don’t need it, why not think twice before you say no. Because it might be a safer option for you? If possible, choose insurance that covers COVID-19. So that you can get the medical care you need without paying if you are unfortunate enough to contract it while abroad.

Test On Arrival And Possibly During Your Stay

It’s not that they don’t believe the test you took two or three days ago. It’s just that they want them to take the test again after you arrive in your destination country. and expect to pay for the test. For some countries, you can prepay for the online exam for a smoother immigration process. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to retake the exam every few weeks or every month and be prepared to pay for it.

5 Essentials To Carry When Travel – Pakistan Tour

    Pack A Lot Of Masks

If you’re traveling with family and friends, it’s a good idea to have enough masks for everyone during your stay. Check to see if specific masks are required at the places you visit. You might be packing a cloth mask, or even a flashy designer mask, which is great for photos but can be frustrating if you’re not allowed in certain places.

Cancellation And No-Show Fees Are Also Back

Over the past two years, many airlines have waived rebooking fees and cancellation and no-show fees. As they realize the pandemic has changed many of our travel plans. A quick survey of airline websites shows that this is no longer the case. If you think your travel dates may change, it’s best to book a ticket that allows you to rebook and cancel at no or minimal charge.

The highly contagious but mild variant of Omicron will “interrupt the recovery” in early 2022 after a 4% increase last year compared to 2020.

Tourism revenue in 2020 was down 72% from the previous year, which ended with the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.

“The pace of recovery remains slow and uneven across regions of the world. Due to varying degrees of movement restrictions, vaccination rates, and traveler confidence,” the World Tourism Organization said in a press release.

Compared to 2020, foreign tourist arrivals in Europe and the Americas increased by 19% and 17% respectively last year.

However, arrivals to the Middle East fell by 24% in 2021, while arrivals to the Asia Pacific were 65%. That was below 2020 levels and 94% below pre-pandemic levels.

The agency expects international tourist arrivals to increase by 30% to 78% this year compared to 2021. But will remain well below 2019 levels.

Why is the Monal restaurant in Islamabad sealed?

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to close the Monal restaurant and take over the land. Bans military ownership of the 8,000-acre Margala National Park. Humane City Chief Justice Athar Minullah said the Margala Greens Golf Club was built on submerged land. He issued the orders “to protect the public interest” while hearing the case against the national park. Monal’s lease is reportedly due to expire in 2021.

Judge questioned whether the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) had obtained CDA approval before building recreational spaces within the national park.

According to a court order, CDA officials sealed the Monal restaurant. Humanitarian City International has ordered the Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency (PEPA) to submit a report. On the damage caused by illegal construction in the national park. In November 2021, Humanitarian Cities International lamented that those who must protect natural areas that were once wildlife sanctuaries are responsible for their destruction. The court jointly accused the CDA, the federal government, and the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB).

The judge ordered the defense secretary to investigate the break-in at Ocean Golf and take action against the perpetrators. He also demanded to ensure that the three services (navy, army, and air force) had not been illegally installed. And that no further complaints should be lodged against any of them.

The military should not be controversial

Justice Minallah also questioned the climate change minister whether his job was simply to “plant trees”. The Prime Minister’s special assistant on climate change, Malik Amin Aslam, was reportedly absent after testing positive for the coronavirus. Judges were surprised to note the spread of corruption and chaos in the capital region. He went on to say that it is not in the public interest for the military to cause controversy in any way. The Monal restaurant was built illegally in a national park. A legally protected area where no one can mow the grass.

The court also noted that the armed forces are not independent but operate under the authority of the Ministry of Defense. He said it was not a “good thing” for the Navy to build a golf course out of bounds. And that no property should bear the name of any institution. The judge noted that citizens respect the military, so if they violate state property, no good news will be sent.

    CDA and the Armed Forces

Justice Min Allah also referred to how the lower classes were impoverished by corruption and lawlessness. Before the defense secretary ordered the Monal Restaurant area to be handed over to the CDA. The judge reminded him that he had admitted the golf course was illegal. The International City of Humanitarian Services also banned yacht clubs and marine farms in the national park area and ordered their removal. The head of the authority, Amir Ali Ahmed, told the court he had issued a notice to the navy to dismantle his yacht club.

The defense minister argued that villages in the Montazah region were also encroaching. The head of the community development agency said the city’s structural plan had been changed without any consideration. And all agencies were encroaching on one place or another. He added that the authorities would refer the matter to the cabinet. Because “when government agencies stop invading national lands, no one dares to do so.”

However, the court did not explain the whereabouts of the Monal restaurant’s nearly 700 employees, who are now out of work.

Snow, Snow Everywhere: Watch Twitter Is Overwhelmed By #Snowfall

For the last whole week, heavy snowfall is been recorded in the northern areas of Pakistan. Tourists from all over Pakistan thoroughly enjoy the snow in different parts like Murree, Chitral, Swat, Galliyat, and others.

The Bureau of Meteorology reports that the current rainy weather system in the country may intensify in Balochistan from Thursday and expand to higher areas on Friday.

    Heavy Snowfall in Naran Kaghan

Heavy snow in the Kagan Valley in Pakistan has blocked traffic on the Mansehra-Naran Galkhad (MNJ) highway. Kagan, Naran, Galiyat, and Thaniani ushered in the first snowfall of the season and it is expected to continue. The snowfall in Naran city is more than 2.5 feet, Kagan is 1.5 feet, Babusar Top is almost 3.5 feet, and Jaliyat and Thanyani are 8 inches. The temperature in Naran and Kaghan dropped below zero.

Naran Kaghan is a famous tourist destination. Because of the pleasant weather during the peak season, thousands of tourists flock to the valley to explore each year. The Kagan Valley is located in the Mansehra District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan. The Tourism Bureau of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province has planned three major ice and snow tourism activities, including the Snow Sports Festival in Swat and Chitral, to provide tourists and adventure sports enthusiasts with better facilities.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Government is working hard to promote winter tourism. This year, despite the temperature dropping to zero, most hotels in Naran, Kaghan, and Sujran are still open to tourists.

Provincial police warned truck drivers and motorists not to use the Mansehra-Naran-Galkad highway from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Gilgit-Baltistan because of heavy snow in the upper part of the Kagan Valley in recent days.

Tourists and locals who want to visit the Kagan Valley can only freely head to Naran, the picturesque commercial center of the valley.

    Murree is overloaded with tourists.

The upper areas of Hazara Province continued to snow throughout the day, accompanied by rain and thunderstorms, isolating the snow-affected areas from the rest of the area.

A large number of tourists came to Galiyat to enjoy the snowfall. The third snowfall in the current winter began in Hazara Province on Sunday morning. Moreover,  the snow was up to 8 inches and the fire was as high as one foot.

It is understood that another cold wave hit Hazara Province. Also,  the plains and mountains in the area continued to rain and heavy snowfall. It snowed in Abbottabad, Pakot, Galiyat, and Thandiani. While the upper Manshera province including Shugran, Kaghan, and Naran was hit by heavy snow.

Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) and C&W Snow Removal and Heavy Machinery are working to make the main Muri Road open to traffic. While some connected Bakot Road, Nathiagali Thandyani Road, Patan, Pahaler Road, Ayubia, Khanaspur Road, Khara Gali, and Palak Roads have been closed,

The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Qassim Khan Suri (Qassim Khan Suri) opened the maiden flight of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Monday. However, the flight-tracking website will show which flights are to and from Karachi instead of Quetta.

“We are very pleased to fulfill our commitment by opening a direct flight from Kuwait to Dubai. Moreover, this is a long-standing demand from the people of Balochistan,” he said at the meeting.

In the past, people had to go to Karachi to take a Dubai flight. But now PIA is providing people in the province with the convenience of getting from Quetta Airport to Dubai.

Furthermore, Suri added that Pakistan International Airline played an important role during the coronavirus pandemic. The greatness of Pakistan International Airlines will gradually recover, saying that Pakistan International Airlines is the identity and pride of Pakistan.
